In 2008 The Arkansas Big Buck Classic was proud with the combined
efforts of our sponsors and attendees to grant a wish for an Arkansas
youth through the MAKE -A-WiSH Foundation! This summer the Classic got
to make the wish of a 12 year old boy come true when we sponsored him
to meet his favorite wrestling star, BATISTA. To this child,..."
meeting Batista was an experience bigger than life!" " the smile was
prcieless and the memory will sustain them through the rough days
ahead". Thank you to everyone who helped us fulfill a child's wish!
In 2008 the Arkansas Big Buck Classic also made donations to the
Arkansas Children's Hospital Foundation and the Easter Seal's Program.
It is our pleasure to have the opportunity to help our Arkansas
Community that supports us each year! We look forward to many more
great years in partnership with Arkansas' Youth and Sportsmen/women of
all ages!
The August 2008 Arkansas Sportsman magazine features the 2007 Arkansas
Big Buck Roundup written by Kenn Young. This article highlights many of
the Big Buck Classic participants with pictures of Larry Heavner and
Tommy Bull and stories of several other Big Buck winners.

The Arkansas Big Buck Classic is pleased to report that with the help
of sponsors, staff and the participants of the 2007 Big Buck Classic,
the Big Buck Classic through the MAKE A WISH FOUNDATION was able to
MAKE A WISH come true for an Arkansas resident this summer! A local
youth who's wish was to go to DISNEY WORLD got to do just that this
past July! Thank you to all who attended the 2007 Big Buck Classic and
helped us help this young man get to fulfill his wish! We feel very
blessed to have such an event as the Big Buck Classic and always strive
to give something back to our community! We feel very strong about
encouraging the youth of our state to get involved in the outdoors and
helping those who do not have those opportunities! Thank you again to
all who attended the 2007 Big Buck Classic! |

All Big Buck Classic Jacket Winners are asked to wear their jackets for a group photo in Barton Coliseum at 2:00 on Sunday.
All participants in the photo shoot will be given goody bags!

• Jackie Bibby, holder of 4 Guinness World Records
will perform his rattlesnake bathtub act at the Big Buck Classic. He
has been a guest of Jay Leno, David Letterman and sport shows across
the country. He is coming as a special guest with Joe Martin and the
Texas Snake Handlers.
